Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1 : Srinagar
Receiving of guests at Srinagar airport- Meet & greet and transfer by to Houseboat/Hotel. Welcome drink on arrival. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in the houseboat/hotel.
Day 02: Srinagar – Pahalgam Local Sightseeing’s – Srinagar
After breakfast leave from Srinagar and drive towards Pahalgam. Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs above sea level (Valley of Shepherds) on the way visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins and Anantnag sulpher spring. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. One can visit Betaab Valley, Chandanwari and Aru Valley in Pahalgam (Direct payment basis). In the evening return back to Srinagar. Evening is at free at its leisure. Dinner & overnight in Srinagar at Hotel.
Day 03: Srinagar To Gulmarg
In the morning drive to Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers. The route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is fascinating. You will be mesmerized by its beauty. Gulmarg is famous all over the world for Skiing and Snowboarding. During the British Raj, Gulmarg hosted the Britishers and Europeans and as such they created a European hill resort and named it Gulmarg. . In Gulmarg you would be able to find European surroundings and 18-hole Golf Course and enjoy Gondola Cable Car Ride world’s highest and the Asia’s longest cable car (at your own cost). Enjoy photography, horse riding and shopping at this beautiful snow point and enjoy gondola ride to Kongdoori & Appahrwhat. In the evening transfer to Hotel. Night halt at hotel in Srinagar.
Day 4: Visit Shankaracharya Temple
Today after breakfast we will visit one of the most sacred temple’s of Kashmir known as Shankaracharya. Located on a picturesque hill to the South East of Srinagar, the temple is named after Lord Shankarachrya – A great philosopher who visited the valley about ten centuries ago. The temple is built on a high octagonal plinth approached by a flight of steps. The summit of the hill is crowned with a picturesque edifice. This hill was called Jetha Larak and afterwards it was named Gopadari Hill. Some are of opinion that the temple at the top was originally built by King Sandiman (2629-2564 B.C.). There were 300 golden and silver images in it. We will explore the temple and also view some amazing locations of the Dal Lake and the city below. We will later drive back to the hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure for individual activities. Later have dinner at the hotel.
Day 5: Departure
After a late morning breakfast, pack your bags & check out from the hotel. We will drive to the airport for your flight home.
