What Is Dark Energy? Why NUE Theory Says We Don’t Need It

Dark energy has long been one of the most puzzling concepts in cosmology. First introduced to explain why the Universe’s expansion is accelerating, dark energy is believed to account for nearly 68% of the Universe’s total energy. The NUE Law asserts that the Universe expands through natural accretion, where celestial bodies increase in mass, size, and distance in a time-bound, compounding manner. This organic expansion, according to Sharma, is a built-in property of matter in the Universe. The result? Acceleration occurs naturally, without requiring unknown forces.

The Living Organic Universe Model
What makes NUE even more revolutionary is its connection to the Living Organic Universe (LOU) model. This model reimagines the Universe as a dynamic, self-regulating living system—one that grows, evolves, and maintains internal balance in properties like density and temperature.

As the Universe expands, so do the celestial bodies within it, maintaining proportionate relationships. This negates the need for energy input from a dark source to explain acceleration.

Dark energy may have served as a useful placeholder, but Sharma’s NUE Theory offers a scientifically grounded and mathematically precise alternative.
